Tim founded the Blaze Lacrosse Club in 2003 in order to Tim founded the Blaze Lacrosse Club in 2003 in order to help High School student-athletes improve as lacrosse players. Providing sound coaching and then facing better and better competition was the goal. He has been active in the game of lacrosse for over 30 years. 

Tim played his High School lacrosse at Fairport High School ('86) for coach Randy Garrett. He continued his career at the University of Massachusetts (UMASS '90) for legendary coach Dick Garber, becoming a two-time All-American for the Minutemen and playing in the North/South All Star game. In 2012 Tim was elected into the UMASS Sports Hall of Fame. 

Tim has played on two USA Mens Lacrosse teams and helped the team win the World Championships in 1994 and 1998. Tim was drafted by the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Boston Blazers in 1991 and in 1994 came to the Rochester Knighthawks. Tim racked up over 300 points for the Knighthawks in the next 11 seasons and is a member of the Knighthawks Hall of Fame. He was drafted by the Major League Lacrosse Rochester Rattlers in 2001 and went on to score 47 points in 31 games. In 2011 he was named Head Coach of the Rochester Rattlers and led the team to a 7-7 record in the 2012 season. Tim is a member of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
